I recently had an opportunity to visit Evansville for a preview of ISAE’s upcoming 2015 Annual Convention July 21–23. To be honest, I hadn’t been to Evansville in almost 20 years, so I didn’t quite know what to expect.
The city and our host venue, the Tropicana, were fantastic. From the mayor, to the CVB, to the hotel staff, area restaurants and cultural venues, everyone I talked to was incredible, genuine and beyond excited to have the opportunity to show the city off to all of us attending the convention this summer.
The riverfront, where our hotel and the site of our first annual cornhole tournament are located, is a great area that’s full of energy and life, and will serve as an excellent backdrop for our event.
Everything we need, from modern meeting facilities to plenty of offsite dining, social and networking opportunities, are in easy walking distance. The food onsite is amazing (thank you Chef Chuck), and the options offsite include everything from formal to fun (can you say, another Irish pub!?). And oh yeah, the closing night party is going to be an event to remember, for sure.
I look forward to welcoming all of you to our 2015 Annual Convention as the city of Evansville pulls out all the stops and rolls out the red carpet to make this July an unbelievable experience for each and every one of us! See you there!
